Back when I was using my 5.2 5spd Gen III at the track, I was using 28x9
Drag Slicks for the stick to the track stuff.
Removal or disconnecting the front sway also helps to set er back for better
traction.
Get a dyno, and using the torque numbers and an online shift calculator find
you best shift points. The rev limiter may not be the best place ;-)
