Just by way of an FYI, you will probably want to run this 12v
line through a relay which is triggered by an ignition switched
source, so that it is shut off when the ignition is off. If
you just run it straight from the battery, after parking for a
while and forgetting to unplug the trailer from the Dak, you
may have a nasty surprise when you try to start up the truck.
