Eric - thank you. I'd never heard of those, but looking at them, that sounds
like exactly what I need. I'd be comfortable working with one of those because
I'm minimizing the amount of messing with the factory wiring that I'd be doing.

Earlier Chris told me what wire I need to tap into from the brake pedal
harness, so I'll test it first. I'm worried about using the brake light
circuit for fear of not knowing whether it's involved in the operation of the
hazard lights. I'll take a look here in town.
