Well, he's got the first step covered, and that's "If you live
in a hurricane area, make sure your town is above sea level". Beyond
that, its mostly just staying out of the way of flying debris, which
any decent basement or root cellar should be able to handle. These
storms tend to fizzle out pretty fast once they hit land (although
it does look like Mike is in for some high winds if it keeps going
the way it is). As far as the aftermath goes, I *know* he has the
