Re: 5.2L a classic?

I take back what I said before- '67 was the first year
of the LA 318. A engine 318 production stopped in the
US in 1966, and continued on one more year (1967) in
Canada.

How could a 318 be a bored out 273 in 1957 when the
273 didn't come out until 1964?

A engine 318s are 303s bored .030 over.

Classic has nothing to do with age, it's rather the
car itself. Think about it- do you consider a '66
Ambassador a 'classic'? If you saw a '52 Plymouth
Savoy 4-door, is that a 'classic'? Are '73 Comets
classics too?

If you answered 'yes' to any of that, please slap
yourself and go gargle some toilet bowl cleaner for
awhile.

I know damn well nothing I own will ever be a classic-
I've somehow managed to get over that however.
