You've only got a 15 gallon tank? I didn't think they put anything smaller
than an 18 gallon in a Gen III. Mine's got a 22 gallon, and I get about a
270 mile range out of that. If you're getting 240 out of 15 gallons that's
not too bad at about 15 mpg.

Not by the numbers I crunched a few years back. Prices may have gone down by
now, but it's still a tossup if you'll save much in fuel. It'll probably
give you 1 - 2 mpg at most.

Not for my application. It may be different for you but my economy remained
unchanged with both the 195 and 180 stats in there. I run a 180 all year
now.

If it was me, I'd do the Viper fan. Check Don's website, IIRC he's got all
the part numbers listed. www.y2kota.us

Is your truck a 4x4? What trans (auto/manual)? Stock height? Bedcover?
Gear ratio?
I found that my biggest gains in economy came when I lowered the truck and
put a bedcover on it. The next biggest gain was when I went to the
Superchips PCM program. I get about 16 - 18 city and anywhere from 22 - 24
on the highway.
For me it was actually more cost-effective to buy another vehicle to commute in.
