Hey, whatever works for ya. I won't judge the vehicle you park in the privacy
of your own driveway. Just wash your hands afterwards.

There's something to be said for that as well. I've been thinking quite a bit
lately about exactly why it is that Norah and I feel the need to have two
fairly similar trucks. If not for the irrational emotional attachment, it
would make more sense for us to have one full-size and one small wagon. I'm
currently thinking that if (when) my '95 finally disintegrates, I'll probably
replace it with a Caliber, then a few years after that I might look at
upgrading the '01 Dakota to a Ram. Unless, of course, by some strange
circumstance, we actually manage to meet our goal of moving out west. In that
case, strike the Caliber 'cause I'll need a Jeep :-).
The Dakota makes a lot of sense if you only have one vehicle. It's probably
the best balance of being able to do everything. But, it is necessarily a
compromise. Since we have two vehicles, it seems that we'd be better off
specializing. But, who knows what I'll end up doing, I'll probably change my
mind ten or twelve times before then.
I'm just waiting to see if Norah finds this message :-). She's been too busy
to keep up on the list lately.
