considering their annoying commercials I'd love to be able to say
that :)

I've got a failure to obey and a cell phone ticket on my record. I'd
forgotten about the cell ticket until I was shopping around for
insurance.

I'm coming from Progressive to Geico to save the $$. Didn't check
with an Allstate agent, might do that in 6 months. I'm certainly
extremely happy with the Geico quote. I'd originally found an agent
for Erie Insurance since I've heard so many rave reviews of them from
here, but that agent also sells Hanover, and they were much cheaper
for me. I was ready to sign that policy which would have saved me
about 35%, but then on my flatmate's urging I checked out Geico and
lo and behold: 50% drop from Progressive. I can't imagine I'd find
anyone significantly cheaper than this. I honestly don't see how
they're insuring me for what I'm paying.

Since I'm fussing about it, I might as well give some numbers.

23 y.o. single male, renting.
100/300/100, 10, 100/300
500/1000 comp/col with glass on '02 Jetta TDI 5sp and '98 Dakota CC
318 auto 4x4
liability only on '84 RamCharger 360 auto 4x4.

$665/6 months with Geico.

Progressive was charging me $1445/6 months for the exact same coverage.
Hanover's quote was a sneeze ever $900/6 months.
