Hey, Andy...

<snip> I have a 99 2wd with rear ABS. I have taken off the wheels and
calipers but
cannot get the rotors to come off on either side. There are no flat washer
clips holding them on and I have banged and yanked and pried on them until
I thought the truck would come off of the jackstands. Is this a "one piece
 unit" or what? <snip>

If there is any type of retainer on your rotor, it'd be on one of the lug
studs. It looks like a Belleville
washer, with slots around the I.D. The DAKSY had none on it. The rotor was
restrained by the wheel
& lug nuts. It may just be rusted tight. Get some PB Blaster in there & let
it soak over night.
Then try smacking it with a BF dead-blow hammer...

<snip>I saw a post by Jared Buckley dated Apr 01, 2003 wheel
bearing install update in which he claimed to have a one piece rotor/hub
assembly but every other place I've looked assures me that they are two
separate parts, including the local Dodge dealer.Has anyone else seen
 this?<snip>

Nope. All the Gen III DAKS I've crawled under have had separate parts.

<snip>Are they machine pressed together?
I have a drivers side front wheel bearing making noise, by the way.<snip>

If you're talking about the bearing/hub assembly, I believe it IS pressed
into
the knuckle. I couldn't get the passenger side off the DAKSY...I hadda pay a
local indy to
do it. BTW, the bearing/hub assembly runs about $150 +/- US...
