They're not that bad! I seem to remember picking up a ticket when I entered
the state and paying a toll when I left the state. Of course it could be
different along other roadways besides I-90. IMHO they're nowhere near as
bad as the tollroads around Chicago are.
Speaking of tollroads, IL is now part of the EZ-Pass "network" so if you're
travelling through from the east, you can use your EZ-Pass in all the I-Pass
lanes.
