Better you than me! ;-) Nothing against Dakota or bringing a dog in
general, but if it were me, I'd sure try to avoid it if at all possible -
seems like it would really cramp my style. (Ok, so I don't have much style
to begin with, but all the more reason to make sure it isn't cramped.) ;-)
I dunno if I'd be able to enjoy myself if I had to worry about where my
dog was and what it was doing all the time, when it wants food, when it
wants to drop off already processed food, etc... :-) If you're interested
at all, I can check to see if the place where we board Timber when we go on
vacation would be willing to take him, and if so for how much; probably
would be a lot cheaper than any place in the Toronto area. Anyhoo,
I hope you don't take that the wrong way :-) obviously, I don't know
your motivations, perhaps you are looking forward to spending your
vacation with the entire family which is cool, but I thought I'd offer
just in case your decision was one of necessity more than desire. :-)

Ah yes, Ohio. I think their state tree is the interstate tollbooth. ;-)
The only thing that seems to be more plentiful than the tollboth in Ohio are
the speed traps. Its a LONG state too. (OK, its no Texas, but for an eastern
state, its darn long.) :-P Especially since you'll be pulling the trailer,
you might just want to leave your wallet in the center console so you don't
pull a muscle from having to reach in your back pocket for it all the time.
:-)
