What a Daktoberfest! The Best Ribs in the World by Chris, New and longer
time DML members from 5 States and Ontario having a great time :-)
Reminded me of the Mash TV show, Jon riding watch and rescue in his 47
Willeys Jeep, Deja Vu with Steve & Son returning with Andy's truck to see
if it could remember trails, Great Guys! 3 Deer on the airstrip drawn out by
Don Rey's Fire truck horn in his awesome Dak high pwrd 4x4
convert. Worst weather ever, yet no breakdowns or injuries. In retrospect
Chris , Magenta Dak , not chef Chris, and Mike M, former occurence, deserve
2 minutes in the penalty box for the intentional blasting of Mud
over other Dak windows to leave them with no vision and sinking fast in a
Bog. Thanks to Jon's father Milt in alerting that
a tree and branches from another tree were collapsing amongst the Daks at
the barn due high winds..
Photography awards go to Walt, Mike and Ingrid, as we watched into the
early hours the Colorado adventure!
I regret that I was unable to attend Colorado.
Andy and I rode with Tom and felt quite safe .
To my friend Bob, Dasky. I was not aware, being Canadian of Dan Q's spelling
error, and promise to not enter politics myself :-)
