Univesal Joints - WAS Re: Daktoberfest Return

Just as a follow-up for those interested...

I called ACDelco and confirmed that the part number that I needed was
45U0111. The front driveshaft takes three of these, and the rear takes two
of them. (See my sig for the truck info). They're on order today and I
should have them in time to do the replacement this weekend.

Jon, when you mentioned the following:

        install the u-joints such that the grease zerks will
        be compressed" by the force from the engine

What do you mean by this? The ones I ordered, the zerks are in the caps.
Either way, it will rotate so that the zerk is farthest from the rotating
point no matter how I would install them. Am I just not seeing something
right?
