Just to add another "me too" data point:

Uhaul is playing serious CYA. I always tell them that I'm towing an
Omni, or using my brother-in-law's GMC 2500. I've towed several cars
back to my garage for repair or to the yard for recycling and never had
a problem with my '94 RC 2wd 318. The heaviest was probably a '95
Stratus on a flat-bed trailer. That combo may have weighed as much or
more than the Dak. As several folks (with loads bigger than what I've
towed) have said, stopping distance is the main problem, but merging
into traffic can be another cause for concern. I simply plan ahead and
do my best to stay out of the way.

Tim
