Been running it in just about all of my vehicles and it does hold up to its
claims.
'05 RS (Caravan) - 2mpg better with just the oil swap (RP 5w20)
'97 AN (Dakota) - smoother engine operation and the roller rockers and
valvetrain are much quieter
'95 ZJ (Jeep) - Smoother engine operation (valvetrain noise) and 1.5mpg
better
The a lot of the folks in the Viper group out here also swear by Royal
Purple (Trans, P/S, Diff, and Engine).

Just found out that my local Auto parts store now carries Royal Purple
engine oil. And I can get it at the same price as the Mobil 1 that I have
been using in my Dak since I bought it new in 97. Aside from the TV shows
and magazine hype, would it be worth switching to the Purple?
