   I don't want to come across like a vulture, waiting to pick the
meat off the bones of your projects ;-) but if you do decide to go in
a different direction there, please keep me in mind; I'm still looking
for a 318 or 360 Magnum for the van. I was originally looking for a
318/360 plus 46RH to give me overdrive, and I wouldn't turn down a
46RH for sure, but I was thinking that as often as I would drive it, I
probably could just get away with a motor swap alone and use the 3
speed tranny that is in there now. A 318 would probably bolt right up
since it and the 340 it is replacing would both be internally
balanced, and I even for the 360, all I would need is the proper
flywheel I believe. This would also eliminate any need to do
driveshaft shortening and custom transmission mounts. Anyhoo, sorry, I
was just thinking out loud there, didn't mean to hijack your thread,
Tom. :-) I just wanted to get official first dibs on your potential
table scraps. ;-)
