In a similar vein, I rented a Sentra once to make the trip from Salt Lake City
to Las Vegas for a Rush concert. I was about 23 at the time, so I had to rent
from Enterprise. They were the only company who would talk to me (and even
now I still call Enterprise first, just because they treated me well in the
past). It wasn't to save on fuel, it was just because I wasn't comfortable
driving my 4x4 pickup truck at speeds over 100 MPH. It's amazing how normal
triple-digit speeds feel after the third hour. When I had to slow back down
to 75 it felt like I was absolutely crawling.
Ummm... I theoretically *might* have done this, of course. Not that I'm
publicly admitting to blowing away the speed limit or anything.
