If it was a 91, it has 6 lugs.

the carriers should. I dont think they made any changes to the front
differential from 87-96... except for junking the CAD.

I looked into this when I was trying to get Christine ready for the
Colorado trip. I can't honestly recall what the motivation was to do
that, or why I thought it would be a Good Thing™, but the Gen I 5 lug
hubs mount flush on the knuckle. The Gen II 6 lug hubs have a recessed
flange that fits into the knuckle. I never physically tried to put the
6 lug hub on the 5 lug knuckle... so I can't say for sure. But... my
gut feeling is the probably wont work. I dont remember if the knuckles
are the same.
