i didn't think to look at the CV shafts & bearing hubs on the junkyard
vehicle. thats something i wanted to know too... crap. it was a 91
truck... i wonder if it had 6 lugs. i always wanted to know for sure
if the carrier assembly for a 6 lug truck will exchange with the
carrier for a 5 lug truck (disregarding the CAD). and will a 6 lug
front bearing hub exchange with a 5 lug? we know the rear axleshafts
exchange.

in any case i'm a fan of the 5 lug axles... jeep wheels have the right
offset for mounting 31" tires on a stock height dak. and they're cheap
and easy to come by.
