That might be a good idea, but then you have to consider small
diffs in the regulators. They might control the voltage so that
one alt is doing all the work, and the other is putting out
no current behind the diodes.
That may be ok, though: you'd sort of only be using the one until
it couldn't handle the current, then the other would start helping.
