Makes me glad there's no inspections here in WA other than a smog test
every 2 years - and even then only in the more populated counties. Smog
they don't bother with anything but plugging into the OBD2 port on a
1996 up car and sniff the gas cap, and they just do the tailpipe probe
for cars earlier than that. I can't remember ever seeing an emissions
inspector pop the hood of a car. You'd be more likely to hear a "that's
a cool steering wheel" comment up here than anything about your stupid
air bag being missing.
