I could call around to the 2 local ones and the one across the border
in Idaho -- but if they're on such super backorder it's doubtful a
local one would have one for a 14 year old truck.

I just ordered an AC delco hose rather than Gates - if it doesn't come
with the spring I'll just have to poke around Napa or explore
"alternative options" like the universal hose that another person
suggested.
