And how do you know it's a slow start due to that?? When you turn the key
on, you can hear the pump kick on. No need to cycle the key on and off. If
the pump turns on it build pressure. Cycling the key won't make it build up
any more pressure than the pump can make the first time. Just turn the key
to on, wait for the pump to shut back off after it builds pressure and start
the truck. Mine has done that since day one. How long of an "off" time are
you talking about?? A few minutes, or overnight? You sure you battery
isn't going bad, or maybe a ground problem?

Subject: DML: Fuel Pump

My 02 Quad cab has the wonderful slow start due to the fuel pump not
holding pressure when shut off. Any opinions on the Carter or Airtex
fuel pumps from Rockauto? Anyone have a rockauto discount code?
Thanks,
Ted
