Yes, if it's a LED. He didn't mention it being a LED. He tested it with a
battery, which has a 50% chance of being right if it's a LED, and 100% if it's
a regular bulb. Black isn't usually the "hot" side of an electrical circuit.
It may make somebody's life just a little bit easier, later, to have black
going to ground and white being the hot side.
