Ok, so I got a case of the happy fingers and got to looking at Dodge.com
at the 2010 dakota configurator, and I realized I am woefully out of
date on the dakota model lineup. In 1999 there was Base, SLT, R/T and
Sport, IIRC. Base was just that, SLT was the nice interior, 2 tone and
chrome, R/T was the fast ones, and Sport was the no-chrome option.
Now I see there is ST, BIG HORN/LONE STAR CREW CAB, TRX4 offroad, and
Laramie. My problem is all of these models seem awfully similar given
the configurator lets you choose most of the same options for each, but
mysteriously, doesent let you have some in a seemingly random pattern.
This combined with the fact that there is only like a 2k increment
between the models, has me scratching my head.
So, anyone have a basic cheetsheet that explains the practical
differences between these? It's hard to daydream about building a new
truck when you are caught up in the details...
