Not to mention that the half tons today are as capable as the 1 tons were 10 years ago - that's an even better reason to slot in something below the half ton. The Colorado/Canyon is now the sweet spot size-wise, where the Dakota started, but they have terrible power train options to say the least, and typical crap GM fit and finish and interior quality.... If they'd pull the parts from the H3 Alpha and put a 5.3 in the pickup with a more upmarket interior they'd have a winning combination... For something Generally Mediocre :)
