Hello All,
I thought about the Bed Liner, I would have gone with the under
the rail job because of my cap, But I saw a '82 F100 with not much rot on
it but a whole lot just near the cab in the bed. It seem that the
previous owner had a liner and a supported light bar, sort of a "pre
runner" effect. He cut out holes in the liner for the bed mounted supports
to go through and the salty water and the rubbing liner did a silent
dissassembly on the wall, not the floor due to the galvanized steel.
I got the mat because it was easy and I could remove it and clean
under it. Since I have a cap it doesn't get wet or gritty (too much) and
I don't use it for heavy hauling. That is, until today. Someone gave me a
Voice-of-the-theatre speaker which is about 4' high. My wife doesn't
know how big the speaker is that is going in our home. @-O
I could leave it in there for winter traction and car stereo
competition. ;-)
