Good advice. I have a question along these lines for everyon on the list.

I've got the baseline AM/FM/cassette with 4 speaker stereo that came with
the SLT trim package. I figured I could always add my own aftermarket stuff,
money willing.

I sort of like the factory radio: everything works, it's integrated and
under warranty, I don't have to worry about it. However, the weak point of
this system are the lame speakers and low power. I'd like to put a new
set of speakers in along with an auxiliary amp to power the rears.

Since this is a club cab, the only place I can mount the speakers is
under the passenger seat (I want to keep the tool storage under the rear
bench seat). I'd like to avoid having to kludge route a whole new set of
wires to support the rear speakers. Has anyone added stereo amps to their
club cab Dakota, and do you have any advice on placement or routing?

  Ron
