When shifting the transfer case into or out of low you should always
shift the transmission into neutral. The least amount of shift effort
occurs if you shift slightly rolling, about 3mph. The transmission still
needs to be placed into neutral before shiting the t-case. In the Ram
V-10 this is about the only way to shift out of low without using two
hands.
