I don't own a Dakota, but I wondered if anyone at this site could
answer some questions. I own a 1980 Dodge Stepside 1/2 ton 2WD. Does
anyone know where you can get the the rear chrome stepside bumper for
this truck. When I bought it, it had the painted step bumper and I want
to put on the stepside bumper it is supposed to have. Also, DOES ANYONE
KNOW WHERE YOU CAN GET ACCESSORIES FOR THIS TRUCK???? It seems that
nobody makes very many accessories for this year and especially the
stepside bed. Mar-K is about the only place I can find that has
anything for the bed.
Another thing is...does anyone know how hard it would be to convert
my truck into a "Little Green Express" truck? (My truck is metallic green)
Right now it has the 225cid Slant-Six. Does anyone know how to soup this
bad boy up? Or should I just dump it and go for a 360? If I do how easy
would it be to convert it over? I would sure appreciate any help I can get.
Just to make this note legit', my dad owns a 1988 Dakota 4WD. It
has 137,000 miles and still runs great. He'll probably one of the new
ones in a few years. Thanks for your time.
