   It is my understanding that if you go with a 8 inch wide rim, you should
be able to put 31x10.5 tires under a Dakota without rubbing. On stock
7 inch rims, you may be able to get some 31s under it, all you can do is
try. I also under stand that there should be no trouble at all with 30x9.5
wich would be one size up from stock.

   As another said... there is a white sticker under my hood that
tells the ratio, and I beleive if it has a limited slip diff too.
   
   Don't forget that your final drive ratio will change with the size
of tires...
