I don't know how related this is, but it reminded me of a "problem"
I have... When my gas guage registers empty, I can only get 17 gallons
into the tank. Originally, I thought I had gotten the smaller tank
by accident, so I filled a 5 gallon can with gas, threw it in the back,
and ran 'er dry. This was stupid, since it caused a bunch of error
codes to come up, but fortunately there was no damage, and I
cleared them out... I did this a second time, but I was on top
of it this time... When it started to drop off, I shut it down and
filled up. Both times, I got way more fuel into the tank (and I
went about 60 or 70 miles further). Is it possible that I've got a
17 gallon sensor on a 22 gallon tank?? It just seems weird that it
would take 17 gallons when the guage says empty...
Anyone else with this problem? Should I have the dealer fix it,
or is there nothing to fix?
