Pulled the wheels on my '92 last weekend to check the brakes. Front pads
are down to 1/4 inch service limit (shop manual), rears shoes have about
1/8 inch lining left with a 1/16 inch service limit. Rears probably don't
get auto adjusted because I hardly ever jump on the brakes after backing
up. The front disks and rear shoes are very smooth and hardly worn.
Going to replace the pads with stockers although the quoted price was
$84.50, instead of aftermarkets of unknown quality.
The rear brakes have enough springs, cables and levers to equip various
small machines however. Not looking forward to replacing them.
