I'd imagine aftermarket flairs are inevitable. Probably would look good
with a flat black, crinkle finish like the older Dak's. By the way, I
didn't like the looks of older Dakota's without flairs either:)
I honestly have only seen 1 chrome-grilled '97 close-up. I guess one
thing that made it look strange was an over-loaded bed and trailer. The
rear was squatting and the nose was stuck up in the air.
