What's this about a shaker?! I must have joined the list too late to
hear about this. What kind of problems did you have? After I took
order of my '97 I started to look for a decent looking scoop that
would compliment the rest of the lines on the truck. I thought a
shaker would look cool but it's not going to be easy on my '97 since
for some stupid reason the motor is mounted off center in the engine
bay. Are the '96 and older models this way?
Anyway, I think I'm leaning towards a Cobra Jet (gasp!) type that I'll
mount to a new hood (called parts and a new hood is only $190). That
way I'm not choppin' a hole in the original and it's alot cheaper than
fiberglass.
