Don't remember them, but drove a Chrysler with one of those wierd

Talked to a friend yesterday and he had one of the things. He said it had
some sort of a torqu converter and you use the clutch to put it in gear then
you didn't need it anymore, you could leave it in third (3 on the tree) and
stop and go at will. He said it was real sluggish though to get going that
way.
