Not to beat this steering thing to death, but I too kinda noticed that my 97 seemed to wander a little more than my previous truck,(a 91 ranger SC 4x4). I came to the conclusion that it was ME. It seems that the steering is so tight and responsive compared to what I was used to that I was moving the steering wheel unconsciously. You only have to breath on a 97 for it to respond. It just took some getting used to.
