There's a TSB on this. You need to trim the rubber blocks the latch pins
strike against. TSB mentioned specifically difficulty in latching in cold
weather, when the rubber gets very hard.

I'd recommend trimming in place, or get replacements from the dealer -
can't beat the factory glue.
