Hi Ryan it sounds like hores hockey to me.Just one question dont you
have a contract. If so are they bound by law to deliver the truck you
ordered.at the price on the contract?I know they would be seeing the far
side of nasty if it was my truck. Also if your dealer wont do anything
for you try calling CC.good luck and keep us posted.Bruce 97club cab SLT

The only problem here is that I signed no contract until the truck was
delivered. The price was basically a verbal agreement. After
the weeks worth of hassles (something about calibrating the computer and
they had to have a factory tech do it, I never really got the whole story)
I was without a vehicle for the first 5 days then for the next 2 days,
they put me in a geo metro, which I paid the extra $5 day to the rental
company for a bigger Olds Ciera. I needed my truck and since they couldn't
reorder, I accepted what I got. Not that I am complaining about the
truck. This is one HELL of a truck!!! Today I got the new buyer
survey in the mail from CC. I plan on laying into the dealership
about the rudness and run around I got about the computer thing.
They kept telling me tomorrow. Also, they conveniently forgot to
deduct from the contract price the manual tranny discount which I caught
at home while adding everything up. Now I have a credit for $170.
Oh well, I was planning on buying the CD changer so it will just go towards
that. Thats my story,
Ryan
