I can't remember what size rear tire you're runnin' or your rear end
ratio but a 3.55 w/ 235/70's would calculate out to 122 mph! If
you're interested I've got a slick little excel spreadsheet that lets
you input tire size, rear end, rpms for shift points, etc.

My '97 was suprisingly stable at 110+. I don't normally do stuff like
that as I'm more of an acceleration freak than a top speed nut but ya
gotta know what the trucks limitations are, ya know? The way it was
pullin' before the limiter kicked in I would think 140 is possible.

Well late one night last week I opened up my truck on the
freeway, and on a downhill, I wound it up to 3800 rpm in 5th...
Dunno how fast, but I would estimate it was were 120 would be by the
position of the needle... The MP SBEC has no limiter, that I can tell
(especially a rev. limiter).

You'd be crazy to go any faster than that...My passenger mirror
moved inward!...
