Jiffy Lube

Well, I just got my oil changed (just over 27,000 miles). I'm a little annoyed
with Jiffy Lube right now.

After they got my truck in, they came into the waiting area and told me that
Dodge recommends that I get my fuel injectors cleaned every 20k miles. I
knew that I hadn't ever had that done, and they said they had a $10-off
special, so I told them to go ahead. I plan on keeping this truck for a good
long time, and I've been making every effort to keep up on the preventative
maintenance.

Then I started thinking about it, and I started wondering why nobody
mentioned this when I took it in to this same Jiffy Lube at 21k (and had the
transmission fluid changed) or when I had it in at 24k (and had the
differential fluid changed).

Then I started thinking about it a little more, and realized that they figure out
something extra that I need to have done every time I go in there. I don't
remember that the owner's manual says anything about getting the fuel
injectors cleaned. Besides, I thought that Chevron gas I insist on getting
had injector cleaner in it.

So, now I'm wondering if I have the word "SUCKER" tattooed on my
forehead in a color that only they can see. Anyone out there have an
opinion on this? Does it really help to have the injectors cleaned, or did I
just get screwed?

Thanks in advance,
Jason
