the reason i bought dakota was the extend cab. A full size extend cab
truck is very EXPENSIVE and thirsty to boot. The s10 extend cab is a
3 passenger truck at best. un less you have two SMALL kids. My son
and I had recently towed a small car through the NC mountains with his
89 v6 5spd sport. It did just fine. I liked his truck. we drove it
from NC to fort smith ark over christmas. We have put 140k on dodge
minivans over the last 6 years. My daughter drove a shadow into the
ground and i was very pleased with it.

The only logical decision for me was to get a dakota extend cab to
replace my aging S10.

The other day my wife needed to go to the maul with 3 teen agers, her
van was down, NO PROBLEM. they jumped in the Dakota and went. NO one
was even embarrased as teens these days are so proned to be.

I could not be happier with my purchase. 92 CC v6 5spd air cruise
tilt, metalic blue with Gold insert. A gorgumas truck. Im nutz about
the 97 v8 maybe later.
