Too much noise with street drags. (he missed a shift/saw a cop/braked for a cat).
Why not leave it to meaningful data: i.e. from the track.
There's no B.S. and you'll have a timeslip which can be verified.
All else is meaningless. (what do you really know about what's under the hood of
a vehicle that never stops to talk to you: you thought V8, was really V6, etc....)
