Yesterday, I put money down on a 98 Dakota. The dealer is going to put in the order
to the factory as soon as they start taking orders for 98's.
He thought it should be delivered by the end of August. His best guess.
Do any of you have any hard info on when the factory will start taking orders? Or when
the shut down for the new model year will start and end?
Any idea what effect the engine plant strike had on the model year changeover?
Since we didn't know what the 98 price schedule is yet, we just agreed on a certain
amount over invoice.
