I don't know if we're talking about the same Viper or not, but
if so, I think Car & Driver had something about it in a recent issue.
I remember thinking, "big deal". The HP increase didn't seem to be
that big of a deal, and the performance increases were rather
dimunitive when compared to the cost of the mods. Hennessey seems to
be fairly expensive, traditionally.

I remember looking into a 7 stage upgrade path that Hennessey offered
for my 3000GT to bring it from 5.7, 14.4, 160 to 4.3, 12.9, 187 (0-60,
1/4mi, top speed) (300hp to 460hp) which costed upwards of $10,000.
IMHO, not a real great bang for the buck... $10,000 for a 1.5sec e/t
drop, and 27mph more top speed? A little out of my price range, thanks. :)
Heck, for just over $7,000 you can get yourself a 380hp 360 magnum
crate engine and a Vortech supercharger. That ought to put you up in the
530-550hp range. (Arrh arrh arrrhhh!) :)

Don't get me wrong... That Viper is one bad snake, but the
Hennessey overhead is a little hard to swallow. :)
