My SLT+ does.
If you look carefully into the specs, the SLT is listed as having "Additional" sound proofing. Nobody could quite tell me what that really meant. I did remove all the panels in my CC, to fine SOME tar and sound pillows. I added an additional 13sq. ft. of lead impregnated tar paper to help things even further.
I would imagine the hood pad could be in the same category.

Got one more item for the FAQ that I need help on. I think that the 97
SLT comes standard with the under hood pad correct? My Sport Plus does
not but I went down to the dealer and popped all of the hoods on all
their SLT's and Sports/Plus's. I found three Sports and one Sport Plus
with the under hood pad. Now something is amiss here, I have every
single option on my truck with the exception of the automatic and the
anti-lock brakes, and the CD player. Check yours and let me know...
