I went to the garage and cracked some of my manifold bolts just to make
sure, and mine broke w/o a problem. But there is only 6 months on the
engine. There are plenty of good solvents, but I don't know of any that
will withstand the heat of a manifold while you drive around. You might
have to wait until D-Day and soak them prior to taking them off.

Just think, every day will make it that much harder . . . .

I won't be for three weeks before I attempt mine as it's going in for it's
paint job.

So is there anything I can do now while waiting for the headers to
arrive to make removal of the stock manifolds easier? Also how much
does an O2 sensor cost? I thought I would replace this with a new one
since I've got around 63 thousand miles and it has to be removed and
reinstalled in the new Y pipe anyway. My Hanes manual says I should
have already replaced it...
