I am not speaking from opinion Jules. I know the gentleman that bought
your products and WAS THERE at the dragstrip when he was comparing
before and after ETs. There was no change after the TBI and rocker
changes, in fact, the truck appears to be runing a little slower than
before after the recent rocker change. Another DML member who I met
recently at Mopars at the Motorplex bought the 1.7s from you and had a
similar lack of results. Also, there have been complaints on this
mailing list too numerous to mention about you making and breaking
promises about delivering throttle bodies. These occurences are real
life events, not opinions or heresay. Now for my experiences dealing
with Mr. Jules personally last year.
I contacted him to locate and purchase a set of the March
Underdrive pulleys. He proceeded to make derogatory remarks about my
ignition and exhaust system and recommend I buy about $1500 worth of his
stuff to replace what I already had. I explained to him that I was very
happy with the ignition system and exhaust I had(worth a documented 4-6
tenths reduction in ETs) and I only wanted to buy the pulleys right now.
He persisted in trying to sell me the unwanted items and after being
repeatedly put on hold, I tired of arguing with him (I tried several
times to give him my credit card number, but he wouldn't stop about the
other parts to take my order!) Needless to say, someone else got my
money for an FIPK kit and the pulleys. I sincerely hope Jules is working
to correct these problems and that future customers won't get the hard
sell and broken promises about delivery. To MPI's credit, I have seen
their throttle bodies and the workmanship does appear to be excellent(it
just didn't make my friend's truck run any faster) These are my
experiences as they happened. What are yours MPI customers??
