Except that the old time mechanics didn't have to deal with 15 sensors
telling a controller and a couple of other things what to do. I agree
that the old time mechanics could fix things, whereas the current breed of
"technicians" can't figure out anything that the scanner doesn't directly
tell them.
The Auto XRay gives a readout of TPS voltage and % WOT, whether or not
that would indicate that the TPS had taken a dump I don't know.
