welp, ran her at the track yesterday with the slapper bars, unfortunately i
didnt run the drag radials. best e.t. i ran was a 16.27 and i spun the
tires for about ten feet off the line. im gonna go back either weds or
friday night and run the DR's.

for those interested, i have been keeping in contact with sean meldrum, he
was so excited about my lakewoods that he bought a set of chrome ones!

yesterday, there was a big mopar sunday show which i went to and made my
passes. there were a few '97 dakotas there, two other V8's and a V6. all of
em were regular cabs. the one guy had a 3.9SG 5.2l 5 speed with mopar
headers 2 1/4 inch y pipe with a 3 inch high flow cat and 3" in dual 2.5"
out flowmaster and a MPI TBI. he ran a best e.t. of 15.76 in the 1/4 he was
running 225/70/15 bfg's and had a big traction problem. his was lowered 2/4
with ram dropped front springs and a 4 inch block in the back. i was more
interested in his exhaust though. them headers look good. and they give the
a/c hose more clearance on the pass. side. i want to get the jba shorties
for mine and get a new y pipe with a 3 inch high flow cat.hopefully, that
damn computer will be out soon!. the other V8 dakota was running high 16's
and low 17's it was a 3.55 SG regular cab 5.2l. i dont think he knew how to
drive the auto. and the V6 dak was runing high 17's and low 18's.

but, it was an overall cool day, i bought some parts for my demon and
watched some awesome mopar action.
